The campground was pretty much empty except for a few families who had the same idea as me. The weather was great for camping, the playground was in full view, and there were some nice kids that the boys made friends with.
We did the usual McCormick's creek stuff. We went to the waterfall and walked along the creek. People fell in of course. We chucked rocks at various other rocks and in the water.
There was a trip into Spencer to pick up supplies, and eat at Mcdonald's for lunch. I can tell you that they had too many cookies, pepsis, and ice creams. They also had glow-sticks each night, and a campfire was going most of the time. There was only one burn, an ember popped out and landed in Jeremiahs shoe. He got a boo boo, so we went back into Spencer for ointment and Band-aids to make it feel better.
In total we played 4 games. We played Catan twice, then Castle Ravenloft, and Ticket to Ride. I tried to manage my phone and customer calls during the time. I read a Time magazine that I bought at Marsh all about Alexander Hamilton, which was very interesting.
I'm looking forward to a season of more wins with the camper.
All good things come to an end.
Super awesome, times to remember forever
