Wow!

It's interesting how a few years go by and you can just totally forget about things, like this blog.  I kind of wish I would have kept up on it a little better :)

I'm home with 2 sick (ish) boys.  Christian is legitimately sick, and Jeremiah pestered the school nurse long enough that she finally threw her hands up and called me.

Life is good and busy, as usual. Everyone is rapidly aging/changing/growing up.  I can't believe it.  The last post on this blog is from Jeremiah in kindergarten.  He's in 3rd grade now!  I'll try to keep it updated more often, for my own benefit so when I'm 93 years old I can look back on this reality.

So here are some updates from the more recent past.

Jeremiah's Field Trip - Kingsway Kindergarten Class Spring 2016

Jeremiah and I went on a field trip with his kindergarten class to the Indiana State Fairgrounds.  Jeremiah and his class rode on the bus, with no seatbelt, on the interstate.  I drove separately.  I got there early and drove around the fairgrounds.  It was interesting to drive the empty streets which are packed during the late summer fair.

We saw farm animals including calves, goats, piglets, a horse, and chickens.  The class walked through a pretend farm and collected food, seeds, and milked a cow.  They sold their ware for a dollar, then bought the ingredients to make a pizza.  We made the pizza and had a little snack.

The field trip ended at the glass barn where we learned how soybeans are farmed in Indiana, and what they are used for.  We ate lunch, then went back to school to see Christian receive an A Honor Roll certificate.
