Carrot Harvest 2015

We planted carrots this year, and we are happy they made it!  I'm not sure how much longer they would have lasted, there were small dig marks and nibbles out of the tops of 5 or 6 of the larger ones.  This just happened last night.  I figured the culprit would be back tonight, so we decided to go ahead and harvest them for us instead!  I'll make smoothies for breakfast from them, and eat the rest cooked for dinner.  They are great raw, and we have eaten quite a few already.

July came and went very quickly!  We certainly kept busy this summer :)

 We enjoyed a nice day at Hummel Park!  Because of all the rain we had, the creek was deep enough to wade in.  

 Of course, the had to get "cleaned off" in the splash pad after being in the creek.

Olivia and Abby went shopping.  They were acting crazy and tried on lots of different outfits for me.
